The automation major is based on the theory of automatic control, with electronic technology, computer information technology, sensors and detection technology as the main technical means, a professional control of various automation devices and systems.
There are three development directions in this major. The first is the direction of industrial process control, the second is the direction of electrical engineering, and the third is the direction of embedded systems.
Automation refers to the process in which a machine, system, or process (production, management process) achieves an intended goal in accordance with human requirements without the direct involvement of a person or a small number of people.
