PROGRAM OVERVIEW
MBA, referred to the Master of Business Administration, is an internationally recognized degree designed to develop the skills needed for business and management careers. However, the value of an MBA is not limited to the business world. MBA can also be useful to those who are in the public sector, government, private sector and other areas of management.
Most MBA programs include "core" MBA programs such as accounting, economics, marketing and operations, as well as elective MBA courses that allow participants to follow their personal or professional interests. Some schools require MBA candidates to complete an MBA internship at a company or organization, which can lead to specific job opportunities after the MBA program.
High-quality business schools usually require candidates to have at least a few years of professional work experience before starting an MBA program.
